Know when the Argentina beef quota is about to close.
CBP publishes fill data once a week. We update it every day: fill level, daily pace and projected fill date for the 20,000,000 kg lean-trimmings tranche, so you can time your arrivals.
Questions
Which beef does this quota cover?
The added Argentina quota covers lean beef trimmings under HTSUS 0201.30.5085 and 0202.30.5085. It is released in four quarterly tranches of 20,000 metric tons (20,000,000 kg). The current tranche runs October 1 to December 31, 2026, and the next one opens January 1, 2027.
Why track it daily when CBP already publishes a report?
CBP's Commodity Status Report is weekly. A tranche can move a long way between reports, and entries that arrive after it fills do not get the in-quota rate. Our daily update shows the fill level, the daily pace and the projected fill date, so you can time arrivals before the quota closes.
What does the daily email include?
Fill level and quantity to date in kg, the 95% threshold status, the average daily pace, the projected threshold and fill dates, and a countdown to the next quota opening once the tranche is full.
Where does the data come from?
From the daily CBP quota status for the Argentina beef quota (Quota ID 025085ARBEEF). Projections are estimates based on recent entry pace, not guarantees.
